Convention Update 11/11/09:

Welcome to Philadelphia! After months of planning we are putting the final touches on the CONA 2010 Convention. Philadelphia is the nation’s 5th largest city with a population of over 1.4 million people. It is the perfect example of a cosmopolitan city rich in history. Philadelphia is home to many restaurants, museums and cultural attractions in addition to being the birthplace of America. Allow us to show you the sights and tell you the tales of a city that forged a nation, cheered for Rocky, invented the soft pretzel and cheese steak and is home to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. So be prepared to come early and be ready to hit the road as my staff and I prepare to show you the best of our hometown. For those of you bringing family we have a host of tours and activities for those who want to explore the area while we play with the horses.    The theme of the 2010 Convention is “Let your Image Be your Calling Card”. I hope that during your visit you will experience the history of the city, enjoy the museums and shops, enjoy visiting our tour stops and have some hands on learning at our driving workshop.

Saturday Banquet: The CONA Banquet will bo on board the
Spirit of Philadelphia Cruise Ship.

Let us show you how your evening will unfold

Welcome Aboard - You’ll know you’re in for a special evening the moment you step aboard our elegant decks and are escorted to your festively decorated table. Many tables are designed for cabaret-style seating with other guests, reminiscent of ocean-going cruises. Order drinks, then feel free to explore the ship while our crew casts off for three fabulous hours on the Delaware River.

  • Bon Appétit - Your waiter will invite you to our Grande Dinner Buffet, where you can sample a little bit of everything, or just select your favorite fare. Everything is freshly prepared in our shipboard galley and served in the true manner of an ocean-going cruise buffet.

  • Oh, Beautiful - Savor your culinary selections over perfectly-paced dinner music and a never-ending view of Philadelphia’s breathtaking skyline seen through our huge panoramic windows. Truly, a sight you won’t soon forget.

  • Live Entertainment - Day or night, Spirit is alive with entertainment. While you relax on our vibrant decks, enjoy your meal and take in the endless stream of city sights, allow us to delight you with live performances. Our talented staff will engage you with wonderful renditions of your favorites. Once you've finished your plentiful buffet meal, the cruise kicks into high gear when the Spirit DJ spins your favorite Top-40 hits and you show off your latest moves on our dance floor.

  • Stroll Under The Stars - After the show, take your drinks topside and relax on the largest outdoor patio deck in the city while Philadelphia’s magnificent skyline spreads before you in all directions. It’s the perfect pause before the pulsing beat of Spirit’s dance tunes entices you onto the dance floor.

  • Rock The Boat - Spirit’s dinner cruises spotlight some of the hottest DJs in the city. For nearly two hours, we’ll spin your favorite tunes and let you rock ‘til we dock - literally. The perfect end to the perfect night.
